My Mom is not expected to last much longer. Could be a matter of days. Thankfully, she is not in pain.

To everyone who's reached out in some way: thank you. It means the world to me and my family.

If you've written to discuss a business project, to offer your support for The Web Standards Project, to ask advice about something you've written or designed, to argue about an article at ALA, to ask me to collaborate on a project, or for just about any other reason, I may not be able to reply at this time. You may think I don't care about your note, or that I'm being rude. I do care and I don't mean to offend anyone by my silence.

It's just that my Mom is dying. And I only have the one.
