You lost me at “infielder.”

The instant a business guy uses a sports metaphor to make his most important strategic point, I am lost. If you want me to understand your business idea, try wrapping it in Wendy Carlos’s secrets of synthesis or quotations by Orson Welles or the punchline to an old joke.

My dad brought home “Switched on Bach” one day around 1972 and I couldn’t stop playing that record. Love to hear Wendy mentioned, always brings good memories for me. (Any memories of sports are few and usually things I’d sooner forget.)

I played more dodge ball than actual sports. The prime directive being “don’t get hit in the head”. That’s all I ever learned. The only thing I understand.

I’d very much like the rights holders to release Wendy’s original Clockwork Orange recordings, please! There are cover versions available. Hope they’re working on a remaster 🙂
